OCEA launches "ALDABRA"

OCEA Shipyard has launched in March an OCEA Classic 72 named "ALDABRA".

Conform to the design brief of all OCEA yacht, "ALDABRA" is designed for extended cruises to the most secluded places. Her hull has been reinforced for ice navigation.

The main characteristics of "ALDABRA" are:

  • Naval architect: Joubert/Nivelt
  • Length overall: 26.65 m
  • Beam: 6.45 m
  • Draft: 1.85 m
  • Displacement full load: 85 t
  • Max speed: 12.0 kts
  • Cruising speed 9.0 kts
  • Range: 3800 miles @ 9.0 kts
  • Engines: 2 x Cummins QSL 9.0 M rating HD 330 mhp
  • Certification CE - Cat. A
  • 1 Owner's stateroom
  • 2 Guest staterooms
  • Crew quarters for 2

 

"ALDABRA" will leave Les Sables d'Olonne in April for the Mediterranean Sea.


The next OCEA Yacht to be launched this spring is an OCEA Commuter 155.
